Junior Research Fellow, Isaac Wong shares three theories on how cells control the size of their organelles in this video.

Description

Dr Isaac Wong is a Junior Research Fellow at Wadham College and is studying the biogenesis and biophysical properties of non-membrane bound organelles at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology. He earned his DPhil in Molecular Cell Biology in Health and Disease under the supervision of Jordan Raff, focusing primarily on understanding the mechanisms behind centriole and centrosome biogenesis.

In this video, one of Wadham's pre-dinner Senior Common Room talks, organised by our Research Associates, Isaac explains 3 theories on how the length of centriole growth is governed.
