Wadham welcomes Foundation Fellows back to College
Date Published: 31.10.2025
Wadham’s Foundation Fellows gathered for a day of discussion, featuring a Q&A with the Chancellor and updates on Oxford’s new Life and Mind Building and Koch History Centre.
Wadham's Warden, Robert Hannigan and his wife Celia Hannigan were delighted to host this year's gathering of our Foundation Fellows - key supporters and generous donors to the College. Alongside members of Wadham's Development Council, the event was also attended by Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Lord Hague of Richmond, who kindly opened the floor for a Q&A on the future of the University and Wadham's role in it.
After lunch, guests were invited to tour the new Life and Mind Building, led by Wadham Tutorial Fellow in Biology, Professor Joe Bull. Although not yet open to the public, the building will soon house the departments of Biology and Experimental Psychology, offering an exciting glimpse into Oxford’s next chapter of scientific research.
The day concluded with an update from Associate Professor and Tutorial Fellow in Modern History (vice Garnett), Tehila Sasson, on the new Koch History Centre, showing the firm future of the humanities at Wadham and Oxford.
Wadham is ever thankful for the partnership of our Foundation Fellows and looks forward to hosting them again soon.
