Ivan Tolkachev

Ivan joined Wadham College in 2023, as a Stipendiary Lecturer in Engineering Science. He is currently a DPhil student at Trinity College, Oxford, working out of Professor Felix Hofmann’s group. His research focuses on the irradiation tolerance of nanocrystalline steels, encompassing both modelling and experimental techniques.

Ivan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2020, with an MEng in Civil Engineering. Prior to embarking on his DPhil, he worked as a structural engineer at Woolgar Hunter Engineers.
