Junior Research Fellow in Chemistry

Biography

Dr Lydia Gilday joined Wadham College as a Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry in 2013, after reading for the DPhil in Inorganic Chemistry under the supervision of Professor Paul Beer. She became Junior Research Fellow in Chemistry in 2014.

Lydia's research interests are in the area of supramolecular chemistry and include exploiting halogen-bonding for molecular recognition and anion templation. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, and supporting Sunderland AFC.
