Biography

Dr Paul Martin is Tutorial Fellow in Politics at Wadham College and CUF University Lecturer in Politics.

Research Areas and Interests

Paul’s research interests focus on the US Supreme Court and school desegregation; the courts, law, and technological change; the institutionalisation of the US Supreme Court and its consequences.

His previous posts include; University Lecturer in North American Politics, University of Cambridge, 2000-1; Fellow in SPS, Jesus College, Cambridge, 2000-1; and Prize Research Fellow, Nuffield College, Oxford 1999-2000. Paul was former Deputy Head of the University of Oxford Department of Politics and International Relations.
