Open Days

Departing from the Main Quad.

Our Tutor for Admissions will give a talk on applying to Oxford (Holywell Music Room)

(Students only). Meet in front quad. Parents and other accompanying guests are directed to the session below, or to refreshments in the Undergraduate Centre.

While the tutor sessions are taking place, we will be running an informal QA session for parents, guardians and teachers with Wadham's Tutor for Admissions. This will include information about finance and welfare provision. (Holywell Music Room).

We strongly advise that you do not drive into Oxford city centre, as it is a small, compact city and the coach and railway stations are located within a 15-minute walk from the College. 

Students studying here walk or cycle around the city, and so we would advise that you also make your explorations on foot (so sensible footwear is key!). There is very limited, very expensive parking in central Oxford so please do not attempt to drive directly to Wadham College as you will most likely not be able to park.

Traffic is doubly heavy during the Open Days but if you do decide to drive, there are several Park and Ride services around the city which will convey you directly to the city centre, the use of which we strongly advocate. We have been advised that the city council will be laying on extra resources at the Park and Rides to accommodate the open day visitors, but Seacourt Park and Ride will not, so where possible, please park at one of Water Eaton, Redbridge, Peartree or Thornhill Park and Rides.

Most pupils will travel independently to the Open Days, but parents and other accompanying guests are welcome to attend some of the events. Please do check that we offer the courses you are interested in, as this is the opportunity to meet students and tutors in particular subject(s).
