Open Days

We strongly advise that you do not drive into Oxford city centre, as it is a small, compact city and the coach and railway stations are located within a 15-minute walk from the College. 

Students studying here walk or cycle around the city, and so we would advise that you also make your explorations on foot (so sensible footwear is key!). There is very limited, very expensive parking in central Oxford so please do not attempt to drive directly to Wadham College as you will most likely not be able to park. Traffic is doubly heavy during the Open Days but if you do decide to drive, there are several Park and Ride services around the city which will convey you directly to the city centre, the use of which we strongly advocate. We have been advised that the city council will be laying on extra resources at the Park and Rides to accommodate the open day visitors, but Seacourt Park and Ride will not, so where possible, please park at one of Water Eaton, Redbridge, Peartree or Thornhill Park and Rides.

No need to book our Open Day, events. Just show up at the Welcome Desk on Parks Road in good time before the start of the event you would like to attend and one of our Student Ambassadors will be happy to direct you.

We don’t anticipate being able to offer accommodation, but anyone who is interested in this possibility should check the website again at the start of June to see if there is availability.
