School Visits
Wadham offers Aspiration Days for Year 10/11 students and Taster Days for Year 12 students.
Visits are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the University term. Schools may bring up to 15 pupils.
Year 10 students visit Oxford's Natural History Museum
Year 10/11 Aspiration Day
A chance for students to experience an Oxford college, learn more about what universities have to offer, meet current students, and think deeply about their future studies.
10.30: Schools arrive
10.30: Introductory talk (focused on the Russell Group, GCSEs, A Level choices and careers)
11.15: Academic taster session (choice between two)
12.15: Lunch (provided)
12.45: Tour and Q&A with Wadham students
14.00: Museum visit (Natural History or Pitt Rivers museums)
15:00: Schools depart
Year 12 Taster Day
A chance for students to experience what it would be like to study at an Oxford college, meet current students and receive advice on making a competitive university application.
10.30: Schools arrive
10.30: Introductory talk (focused on making a competitive Oxbridge/Russell Group application)
11.15: Academic taster session (choice between two)
12.15: Lunch (provided)
12.45: Tour and Q&A with Student Ambassadors
14:00: Personal Statement/Super-curricular Workshop
15.00: Schools depart
