Wadham College COVID-19 procedures

We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of all College members and visitors.

In light of the continued risk of COVID-19 transmission, we ask all members of the University to be considerate and continue to take steps to reduce COVID-19 risks. You should: 

Avoid contact with others if you might be infectious.

Respect people’s space.

Ventilate indoor areas.

Keep up to date with your vaccinations.

Staff and students with COVID-19 symptoms can use the NHS testing service and should continue to log results via the NHS. LFD tests continue to be available from the Lodge or the Residential Operations Managers at Merifield and Dorothy Wadham.

Note that wearing a mask is now optional. However, please do respect and be courteous to those who choose to continue wearing one.

Students Living in College accommodation

To help reduce the risk to domestic and maintenance staff, if you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 and are staying in your room/flat in:

If you develop severe symptoms, please contact the Lodge and 111 or 999 depending on the circumstances.

In line with current Government guidance, the measures in place in the College to reduce the risks of the virus spreading will be kept under regular review to make sure they’re still working and appropriate changes will be made where appropriate.
