In difficult times and eras of great change, Wadham continues to have high ambitions in research and teaching, and in making these accessible to talented students from all backgrounds.
As you will see from this newsletter, our Fellows and graduates continue to produce ground-breaking research across multiple disciplines. Alumni always remember their teaching through the unique experience of the tutorial system. That continues to bear fruit, not least in some excellent Finals results this summer. We are now looking forward to welcoming a new intake of undergraduates, all of whom have got here despite some very difficult years of disrupted schooling.
Above all, our Access programme continues to show measurable success.
Above all, our Access programme continues to show measurable success. The summer schools reported on here, which are so generously supported by alumni and donors, are directly helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access all that Wadham and Oxford have to offer. We have ambitious plans to drive this forward, and I look forward to sharing more with you all over the coming months.
