'Think Like a Lawyer' participants visit Wadham at the end of Year 1 of the programme

Date Published: 26.05.2023

Year 12 'Think Like Lawyer' participants marked the halfway point of programme with a visit to Wadham College.

Congratulations to our 'Think Like a Lawyer' participants! They have completed the first year of this free, two-year programme run by Wadham with the global law firm, Linklaters, for Year 12 students attending a non-selective state school who are interested in studying law at a top university.

The students took part in tutorials with our tutors and admissions test preparation sessions run by Oxford Law Faculty. Members of our Access Team and our student Law ambassadors ran interview-style question workshops. The 'Think Like a Lawyer' participants also chatted with our students about living and studying at Wadham and at Oxford while on a tour of our College.

We hope that our visitors enjoyed the day and gained increased subject knowledge and understanding of the application process, as well as a greater sense of all aspects of the university environment and experience.

We wish the students luck in the second year of the programme. They will work with Causeway Education, who will provide guidance on the University application process. They will also receive online tutoring in a subject of their choice while in year 13.

Well done to everyone on finishing year one and good luck for year two of 'Think Like a Lawyer'. Thank you to everyone who has supported this programme.
