We were honoured to be nominated in the Oxford Climate Awards 2025

Date Published: 22.09.2025

The awards, hosted by Oxford City Council and the Oxford Mail, celebrated those who are making a difference in our community through their sustainable practises.

Wadham was nominated in the Sustainable Further Education School or College category and congratulate worthy winners, ACE Training.

We were represented at the event by Visiting Researcher, Ashley Bang; Sustainability Director, Frances Lloyd; our alumnus and Climate Change summer school founder, John Howie; and Estates Manager, Chris Cox. We're exciting about taking forward our Sustainability Strategy and committed to integrating environmental responsibility into every part of College life. Find out more about the Climate Change Awards and about our Green Wadham programme of improvements to sustain the environment for future generations.

Congratulations to all the Oxford Climate Award winners and nominees.
