So many of the alumni I meet emphasise the life-changing significance of the Wadham tutorial experience. In the face of complex global problems, we must continue to educate graduates who can think critically, in dialogue with others.
For this, I firmly believe that the tutorial system – the unique, intellectual backbone of Oxford teaching – will become more important than ever. Our goal must be to secure the future of this educational model for generations of students and researchers. Together with you, our alumni and supporters, we can continue to equip bright young minds with the values, skills and intellect needed to take on the challenges ahead.

Our extraordinary Wadham community of alumni and friends remain central to the College’s impact. Thanks to donations from 3,799 alumni, our most recent campaign secured £49.4m to ensure students of all backgrounds can access a transformative education.
